Launch of The Empower Austin Project

I feel like I had a decently successful launch of The Empower Austin Project. I held 3 classes in three different public libraries in town. Both classes on Saturday in south and north Austin were about delivering study and test-taking skills along with energizing goals. Monday’s class at the Austin History Center focused on developing good decision-making skills and energizing goals. What a beautiful building that is.

There’s already been some results. One person said that for the first time her back pain went completely away… until she had a doubtful thought then it came back. She now has a tool to continue finding moments of painlessness. Another person had an ear become unstopped for the first time in days. It stopped back up a few hours later.

When I started planning to do two-hour classes mainly focused on experience I wondered how effective it would be at providing the environment for someone to have a positive and affirming experience of themselves. It seems like there’s some good results. AND it just proves the fact that each of us has an incredible power that lies dormant within just waiting for us to access it. By simply having three direct training experiences within two hours people experienced unleashing their potential. That tells me how easy it is for us to find our power.

I have such humility. I give reverence to Jose Silva, the man with the genius of passion driving him to create a complete educational system that specifically educates people with the tools to actually live life using more of their mind’s potential utilizing both hemispheres. Maybe we are approaching breaking the ten-percent estimation of how much potential humans generally use. Why wouldn’t anyone not want to be somewhat better than they are now; better as in effective, enriched, fulfilled.

Give your Mind clear and precise directions and it says ‘yes, master’. Well, maybe it just does what you command it to do. As an engineer I have done different computer programming along the way. This is how it appears to that happy engineer aspect.

Our Minds are biological and intelligent computers. The Mind always follows our instruction. We deliver our instructions to our Minds using visualization and imagination at a relaxed state of mind. That is The Key to unleashing your potential. The trick is to practice, hone and develop the use of visualization and imagination. That is what the Silva Method does. It becomes more expansive as the classes go along but in the beginning it is all about directing your own Mind. That then directs your life as you desire it to go.

If you are new to this concept then do this. Even if you are not new, do it and see if it works for you…

Find a relaxing place to sit, preferably not lie down.
If you find a sound helps you relax without distracting you then put some on.
Close your eyes.
Take a few deep breaths in, hold it for a second then exhale.
Pay attention to the sensations of the air passing through as you breath.
Start counting down from 50 to 1 and every few numbers think to yourself that you’re going deeper.
Stay alert yet very relaxed simultaneously. This is relaxed focus.
Visualize out in space, in front of your eyes, an outcome you want in life. See yourself in the scene as if it is happening right now. Feel the feelings that go along with having this.

You can do this for a just a few minutes a day and you will begin to notice some changes.

Here’s an example. A friend’s daughter wanted to make more tips at her night job as a waitress on a weeknight. She said that normally she gets about $20 tips on a weeknight and she wanted to make $40. I told her to go find a place to relax and daydream. See herself actually receiving it and to feel it happening now. She did this for just a few minutes before work. She called me after her shift and she got $50. That probably took 3 minutes or so. I know in high school I would have loved to all of the sudden have another $30. That’s motivation, isn’t it?

Please report any outcomes.
