Happy Thanksgiving to you, your friends and family,

Oprah talked a lot to her audience about keeping a gratitude journal where morning and night you write down what you are grateful for. Spiritually, giving thanks is blessing what you have. When you give thanks for what you have, they say, you receive more of what you want. Jose Silva talked about energy channels and that we have the ability to tune our minds to the ‘channel’ for what we want. Tuning our minds is our job. Consider that giving thanks by speaking it or writing it is the very act of tuning your mind to the ‘receiving channel’… and then just enjoy having the life you want and more so…

Bask in the love of being surrounded by those you love.

Thank you for being in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving to you. Love, Lamar

Our Deepest Fear or Inspiration

I was polishing up my Statement of BEing and thought of the great writing by Marianne Williamson that Nelson Mandela used in his inauguration speech… “Our Deepest Fear”. I reworded it to make it a powerful affirmation. Or actually it is a powerful statement of our truth.

The original is so impactful:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Rewording it to be a statement of our truth:

My deepest knowing is that I am more than adequate. My deepest knowing is that I am powerful beyond measure. It is my light, not my darkness, that inspires my life. I claim God’s Truth for my life: I am brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous. How can I not be as a child of God? Playing small in the past has never worked. I now play large to serve the world. My expansive consciousness allows those around me to feel secure and powerful. I am meant to shine as all God’s children do. I am born to manifest the glory of God that is within me. It’s in me; it’s in everyone. As I let my light shine I have given other people permission to do the same. As I am liberated from fear and embrace personal freedom my presence automatically liberates others.
