I have mental flexibility which I consider it to be valuable so that I don’t get stuck in the past fighting the ‘new ways’ of those youngsters. Adapt or stagnate.

I gave a lunchtime talk at a school for learning challenged children in San Antonio. The owner told me of a study that showed a link between how the teacher feels when s/he walks in to serve and the effectiveness of their results. She learned to use a quick self-centering method and then walked into the room.
Second, these techniques are easily understandable so they could convey some of this to help another person calm down, relax, focus more, etc.
Out of thousands, I have had a handful of doctors dare to take the class. Funny how experts do not need to learn other things. Two of them, only because their girlfriends told them to. When in a class that includes mental healing training, I always put them on the spot: Do you heal the patient? Or do you set the environment for the innate healing mechanisms of the body can do the healing? Of course, it is the latter. And that is what this mind training can help with a lot.
One doctor began an ER center in south Austin and we talked about using the techniques for his medical staff.
Students who want to study less while improving their grades. The results are always great. This studying method causes superior concentration, comprehension and understanding. It indexes learned information so that you have easier recall using the test-taking method.
One friend went from the bad Dean’s list for grades and was surprised at his graduation ceremony to have graduated with honors.
Your brain is the CPU, central processing unit, of your body. It manages all functions, senses, autonomic systems, nerves, etc. I have stories of nerves re-growing, dire diagnoses being reversed, tumors shrinking and disappearing, extreme pain being controlled to become no pain, skin tags disappearing, and so much more.
Train your brain to access the whole brain and live a better life.
Think about it. Normally, to change something in life there is a logical process to do so. We all know how to do this, well.
This is a different approach to manifest something you want in life. You will be tapping into the Laws of Life that are unseen. Everything comes from the unseen realm and eventually returns to the unseen realm. There are Laws that govern the unseen realm just like there are natural laws that govern the physical, the seen realm.
Try this out as a personal experiment. Choose something light, fun, and with no serious attachment. When you have it in life you will be proving to yourself that it works. Repeat your experiment on the second item. Once you have proven to yourself that it works…Then pick something that is not so light or has some heavy attachment.
This is also a great way to start expanding your life beyond the box in which you are currently living. This is an alternative way to live the life you desire.
Get a piece of paper and pen and sit somewhere comfy.
Write down the negative item or circumstance. Make it personal using the first person. Example: At work, I feel ____. My relationship needs something. ___ isn’t working for me anymore.
Observe the thoughts you have about this negative item in your life. Have you had thoughts or beliefs that align with this result in life? Be honest with yourself. Write this below the negative item.
Take a moment to become mindful of the connection between
your thoughts and this result in life. Do you see a connection? Is there a
feeling within you that matches this result in life? In other words, what
feeling do you have that comes with this undesired result?
Reflect for some more moments… How does this make you feel?
Above the negative item you wrote, write ‘I do not want this
in my life’ or something like that.
Turn it around. Take ownership of creating what you want in
If you had the option to change this negative item, would
Answer that, then consider the following…
Think about this undesired feeling. How would you rather feel in that area of life? What feeling do you want to have concerning this area of life when it improves? Imagine feeling it.
Skip a line or 2, then write ‘I choose this result in my
life’ or something like that.
Below that, write ‘I feel (your chosen feeling)’.
Now, consider this item you do not want anymore. What would
you like instead that will make you feel how you want to feel? Just play with
it. Play goes with imagination. You get to make up something new in life in
order to manifest it. Could be fun. It could work.
Write down what you desire to have in life, on the next
Here comes the thread that weaves together the way you
choose to feel with the new desired item in life.
You might take some time with this.
What thoughts align with having this desired feeling that leads to the chosen positive result? This is you backtracking to see what possible thoughts could support having the positive result you want. I have found that it works to think of someone who already has close to what I want to manifest. What thoughts must they have which lead to them having this? Adjust those for you. I actually, once, asked a friend who had a relationship I liked: “What are your thoughts and beliefs about this?” I then adopted her thoughts…they worked for her. Why not?
Use the power of your mental focus
Sit back, take a deep breath, and relax. Imagine that you already have this positive desired result. Feel it. What does it smell like? Taste like? Look like? Sound like? Feel like? Do you feel the feeling you chose you want to feel as you imagine it? This is your mental playground. Play with it.
In this, contemplate a new thought or new belief that supports your desired outcome. This thought would naturally lead to all of this becoming real. Make it up. Play with it. It does not have to be perfect. You can always change it with more clarity.
Once you think and feel you have it, write it down on the next line.
Ideas to fine-tune it
Finally, craft the thought into a more empowering thought.
This is done by:
Stating it as if you have it now. Not when something else happens. Now. It is done and in your life.
Do not use words that separate you from having it now, such as may, might, will, hope, etc.
Weave the feeling into the statement. I am thrilled with my new car. It feels good going to my job. I really like the new person I’m dating. I love visiting and exploring Bali.
Don’t make it heady. Make it visceral so that you feel it when you think of it. This fuels it into becoming real.
Write this thought next. This is a supportive thought.
Past precedent does not dictate future outcomes.
Letting go of the old
Now you have a piece of paper with what you do not want, its supporting thought and feeling. When you feel absolutely ready to change it, use a red marker to make a definite X over it with a feeling of ‘it’s gone. I am ready for the new’. The red X is a strong signal to your mind.
Tear that part off. To release something and its energy, it is best to either burn it or flush it. Do either safely while letting go of it in your mind and your heart.
Creating the new
What I tend to do to make sure I am focusing more and more on my chosen desired item, is to write it on an index card and carry the final statement with me. For some, I have written it on post-it notes and stuck it on the mirror, the door frame, the car dashboard, on the electronic calendar, anywhere to keep it in your face.
At any time you think of the old unwanted…quickly recall your new chosen thought with the feeling that goes with it.
Be gently vigilant about doing this. In a short time, the old unsupportive thought and feeling fade away as you are choosing the new supportive thought and feeling.
This is your new thought. Own it. Repeat it and imagine it often and it will become your normal thought which will lead to it happening in your life.
There is a power for good in this life that is all around you, within you, and supporting you.
You have now initiated a change you want. Be patient.
As long as you continue to choose it and feel it despite no indication of it happening, it will happen. You are taking action every time you imagine it and feel it as if it is in your life now.
Remember this is an experiment. Keep at it and watch what ideas come, doors open, meet the right person, other ‘coincidences’…and sometimes it just comes right to you.
When you have manifested this, take time to congratulate yourself and contemplate how it came about. Then, you are ready for the next thing to change in your life.
If you are reading this, you are ahead of the game. Most will sit in their haze of normality instead of doing something different…which leads to having something different. You are taking your power back to live a more desired life.
Your Imagination is Your Way Out of a Limited Life Box
Everyone goes through phases where something in life is too rote or not working anymore or it is just time for that change. The more a person evolves in this lifetime, the more a person has to grow out of limiting life boxes.
The challenge is that people tend to linger on what is not working. Neuroscientists say that the brain is designed to learn a habit and stick with it. It is in our brain’s wiring, i.e. neural programming. One loud NO registers immediately and the brain changes. It takes several strong YES’s to register in the brain.
The great news is that consciousness supersedes habitual programming. It just takes knowing how.
Proper use of consciousness leads us out of stuck-ness
Every single thing we have done in life involves imagining it first. It is such an automatic process that we may not be aware of it. And it is our saving grace in life. The imagination creates the life framework to change and, done at the right brain frequency, reprograms the heart and brain neurons so that we can accomplish a desired change in life.
So, have your pity party 🙂 It is a part of the process…and oh my, I have had mine for way too long. At some point we are recreating the same thing over and over. When we only use our logical mind it is so focused on the past that it is recreating it for the future, over and over. Life becomes a continuous groundhog day, as in the movie.
Until we declare STOP the madness!
Make the shift:
Pause your normal thoughts.
Focus on deep breathing for a few moments. Breathe in through your nose being mindful of the air flow coming in. Hold it to the count of three. Exhale through the mouth noticing the flow of air coming up from your lungs, out your mouth. Do this a few times.
The more you focus on this flow of air, the more you remove the energy from those incessant thoughts and shift into your inner center where all real power comes forth.
That begins the shift.
Focus your attention onto what you desire, as if you have it, and let the energy that was fueling the old thoughts bring life to what you desire.
This shifts you onto your new chosen path.
Rinse and repeat. Do this process daily or even multiple times each day. This tells yourself that ‘I am making this change’. And you are telling Life, the Universe, what you desire instead. Stick with it to observe new ideas, opportunities and more come to you.
I hope this helps begin your process of change. Have patience and be willing to do something new to see the results you have in life.

Someone asks you if you want to go skydiving. You reply quickly ‘I can’t imagine doing that’.
Or, do you want to expand into a bigger or nicer home. “I can’t imagine that.”
Someone describes their life of abundance. You think to yourself “I can’t imagine that for me’.
It is a good practice to start noticing your automatic replies to things. Wonder if maybe it’s just not for you or maybe it’s an unconscious limit showing itself to be re-looked at to see if that stills applies to who you are now.
These are declarative statements we sometimes make when something seems too big, too outside the box, too much abundance or too (whatever). And sometimes we just do not have interest or curiosity. That’s valid when it truly applies.
The truth is people say these things without conscious thought. Wherever they were adopted from, they are showing you and others your limits. Recognize that some limits are necessary and some just stop us from growing. If you don’t catch your self or have a friend notice what you say, then you may be giving clues as to why you are not able to change, be who you choose to be or not achieve your goals.
Is it time to challenge your old ways?

Suggested exercise to develop more dominion over life.
Gain awareness of how your thoughts drive your actions, behavior and interactions.
Start noticing the thoughts you have as you take actions and interact with others.
Thoughts create reality
Conscious + Unconscious thoughts lead to your experience of reality. Generally, a person’s conscious thoughts are up to 10% and unconscious thoughts up to 90%. Yikes! Thus it is good to gain awareness of those unconscious thoughts. This exercise helps.
Having the awareness of the thoughts that drive you activates your innate ability to change.
Schedule a reminder or put a rubber band on your wrist to remind you to do this throughout your day.

Yes, you can bend reality and you are doing this yet are simply unaware that your thoughts cause the results in life.
Thus my favorite topic… How do we tap into our inner potential to alter life?
I first learned precise thinking and visualization to cause a change within me or externally in life, in Malaysia as a young engineer living and working in Indonesia. These skills directly empowered me to improve my job performance significantly. And management started noticing my achievements and performance under those stressful and sometimes dangerous situations.
It truly is nice to be able to choose your desired behavior, task performance or pain release through lining up your thoughts in a precise manner leading to achieving with greater ease, less struggle.
When we make choices about what we want in life and practice living them within our own trained imagination we are literally programming our brain neurons to be able to recognize and act upon ‘the goal’ when opportunities start coming to us. It also sends out energy from your body’s energetic system to move the matrix of reality creating a path leading towards the desired result.
This may sound fanciful or too science fiction and it happens to be true.
As an affirmed geek I just luv this stuff. And it is practical, repeatable, follows laws and principle of the unseen forces that cause life, and leads us to becoming who we want to become.and to achieving what we are impelled to achieve.
Procedure to bend reality to be a path to achieve your results:
Select a relaxed atmosphere inside or outside
Find that ‘just right’ position to sit and get relaxed
Close your eyes
Place you attention on the airflow going in and out of your nostrils and mouth as you breathe in through your mouth
Hold it for a few seconds at the top then exhale deeply
Continue breathing in and out as your body and mind relax
Tell unwanted thoughts to float on like a cloud in the sky
Create in your imagination, using your senses, of having the result you are choosing to create in your life
Be sure to generate the emotions of having it. This fuels it
Spend a few minutes in the morning, midday and evening doing this.

Effective Communication Between Folks is Difficult When People are Busy Filling in the gaps of information with their own past stories from life.
This is a sliver of Brene Brown’s social research mixed with my invaluable training from The Natale Institute about this subject.
When someone is telling you something, a story or something about them self a phenomena happens if the listener does not practice effective listening. The listener will hear one or two points then their brain will take from one of their own stories from life and fill in the missing pieces. It then becomes familiar and understandable that way. That can easily lead to inaccurate judgments and decisions being made.
That moment is what causes so many difficulties. When people do not have facts straight they then share with others a lie that can be the seed that hurts others. If those added pieces were from an unhealed part of the listener’s past then that unhealthiness will be introduced into this relationship thus exacerbating problems. Everything is energy.
I am a licensed spiritual practitioner with the Centers for Spiritual Living, csl.org. In the 1990s the organization had non-accredited classes. One of them was about communication. I taught it and when I led this exercise it was eye opening. I whispered an event with some names and details into one person’s ear. Then that was whispered from one person to another until the final person said out loud what he or she heard. There was barely any semblance of truth to what the original story was. Each person had heard what was not there and added to the story from their own thinking process.
This also happens when someone is operating at a higher than healthy level of stress. Stress distorts thoughts and perceptions and does not allow us to be present to hear accurately.
This is why I like talking with people and being in communities where there is a willingness to verify what they think they heard and there is a freedom to clarify what was heard. But most people just hear what they hear, judge what they judge and move on thinking that they have accurately perceived the truth. Thus problems are propagated and the Universal Value of Unity is not upheld becoming, instead, an ego-driven value of separation.
What to do
When an atmosphere of effective communication has been established then defenses are dropped and hearts connect. Verify and clarify are important qualities to have in healthy effective communication between people. And, all it takes is an intent to connect with someone underneath the facade of life. There are specific skills that can be utilized and styles of communication that promote healthy and effective communication thus healthy and effective relationships.
Effective communication is a necessary topic that leads to an effective atmosphere to get things done in groups, businesses and communities.
There is a plethora of detail that I could write about this subject. And that is beyond the scope of one blogpost. I am attempting to present bites at a time so that the blogpost does not become a dry research paper 🙂
Beliefs in what is possible, values in how life should be, moral judgements, conclusions made in unhealed past experiences, gossip you heard about someone, peer’s beliefs, family conditioning for life, and on and on… each is a filter to the lens that is between the raw reality of one’s physical reality and the cut, edited and deleted input your conscious thought perceives and you experience.
Think of it this way. When you put on a pair of glasses with a colored lens everything has that color tint to it. And there are colors and areas of life that cannot be seen with these glasses.
When we stay within our own life boundaries and beliefs that is all we can perceive in life as possible. Anything outside our self-defined life boundaries is sometimes not heard or recognized because of a person’s perspective filter. And the perspective filter is different for every single person on the planet. It is a wonder we can ever find agreement.
We are designed to see beyond our current perspective filters
Our physical eyes can only see until there is a wall, fog or physical obstruction. Our physical olfactory sense works as long as the fragrance makes it to the nasal passage in the face. Our ears can hear a sound as long as that vibration makes it to our ears. Touch works as long as it is within arms reach. And taste can only taste things that are on the tongue; of course smell has a lot to do with taste.
Thankfully we are born with a Spiritual Layer to us that has broader perceptive abilities beyond what the human senses can detect. There is a spiritual (energetic) sense for every human sense. We can hear, see, touch, taste, feel and know beyond the limits of the physical senses using these spiritual senses.
The third eye is the spiritual eye that can see beyond obstacles, around corners and through darkness in life thus guiding us beyond what we can physically see. The spiritual sense is without limitations like walls, dark periods in life, length limits of arms for touch, location of nostrils for smell, distance between ears and sound, etc, obstacles, difficulties, pains and more. They help guide us even when life has disturbances, disruptions, and the like.
We are designed so well for self-determination. We have free will to choose what we think, feel and do. No one can control that except us. And what we think is the beginning to what is experienced in life. We can learn methods to lift up our eyes from the human condition and the physical senses when life is not to our liking. This opens us up to a spiritual perspective, the intuitive mind and much inner guidance that will provide new ideas and a sense of direction.
Change your perspective.
Take a weekend trip.
Disconnect from reality for a day.
Imagine being in space.
Work with someone trained to coach you out of your accumulated life muck into a fresh perspective on life where your forgotten dreams, too-good and to-do ideas are still possible. This is a beautiful process to catalyze within someone.
When I do a P.E.A.C.E. Personal Energy Alignment, Clearing and Expansion Session for someone…almost every time they have a big change in life. Their perspective changes totally aligns more towards their true nature which is good, abundant, skilled, focused, etc.
One lady called me the next day and told me that when she got home after our session her dogs were not barking and her 2 children were getting along. The dogs have never not barked when she got home and her early adulthood children, one with special needs, did not get along together. She called to tell me that THEY had changed. I offered the truth is that SHE had changed.
One thirty-something man was walking down South Lamar Blvd the day after wondering to himself what kind of man he wanted to grow into. At that moment there was a book on the sidewalk right next to his foot that was titled What Kind of Man Are You?
Finish each day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
